What is “Forest Bathing”? It is a guided walk in a forest area to take in the natural atmosphere. A typical Forest Bathing session typically spans 2-4 hours and involves using the five senses to experience the outdoors. It involves walking in a natural setting at a slower pace and usually covers only about a 1/4 to 1 mile. Your guide will invite you participate in several gentle activities that allow you to relax and be mindful, while taking in the natural atmosphere around you. There will be moments where you can choose to share your thoughts with the group, but this is optional. Light refreshments will be provided. Bask in nature at your own pace in one of our guided Forest Bathing sessions in a park of your choosing in the Greater New York City area.
